We're also huge college football fans, as I'm a Gator, and Dave attended UCF for undergrad. We moved up to Atlanta for physical therapy school and law school, respectively, and liked it so much that we decided to stay. Dave now works in family law, and I work for one of the largest trauma hospitals in the South. I feel incredibly fortunate to live in such an wonderful city. Atlanta has the warmth and hospitality of a true Southern community; yet it has the excitement and culture of any large metropolitan area. We're a short drive to the beach, and a shorter drive to the mountains. Not to mention the fact that, in my opinion, The A is one of the most underrated foodie towns in the world!
The name "Dr. Princess" is a term that was first coined by a friend of mine upon my graduation from physical therapy school. You see, I've always been a girlie girl. I have way too many dresses, I throw a pretty rockin' dinner party, and I'm just a little obsessed with Disney. On the other hand, I'm also a huge nerd. I love trivia, I'm a stickler for proper grammar, and I quote movies like it's my job. I plan to use this blog to document thoughts as random and quirky as I am. I'd be thrilled if you'd come along for the ride!
