Beer at the Bark Park

This summer, Atlanta's Piedmont Park is hosting a weekly series of beer gardens. Patrons can purchase beer to benefit the Piedmont Park Conservatory, and they can enjoy their beer while playing in designated areas of the park. The schedule is as as follows:

Thursdays from 6PM-9PM at Dockside (the Visitor Center)

Fridays from 5PM-8:30PM at the Dog Park

Fridays and Saturdays from 5PM-7PM at the pool

Sundays from 5PM-8PM at Legacy Fountain

Of course, we had to check out the inaugural evening at the dog park!

The designated drinking area was under the bridge, which was smart...you'll see why in a moment...

The sudden summer storm didn't hold back our little one. Corgi herding instincts - activate!

Then, Chelsea remembered that she was a spoiled little princess, and decided to find some dry land...in the form of snuggling with the bartender.

Craft beer, a good cause, and dogs led to a really fun evening...even in the rain! We'll be back, and I'm sure Chelsea's okay with it.
