Next Time Won't You Sing With Me?

This post has been circling the blogosphere for a while now, so I figured I'd participate too!
 
A. Age: As of today, 26.  Yes, it's my birthday.  You may leave well wishes below :)

B. Bed size: Queen

C. Chore you hate: Putting away laundry.  I'm fine with doing laundry, but I would seriously rather vacuum/dust/etc. than put it away when I'm through!  The problem is that if I don't do it right away, it'll sit out for a week!  I'm trying to get better about that...

D. Dogs: Chelsea Belle the wondercorgi!

 

























 E. Essential start to your day: On workdays, I peruse Facebook and Twitter as I eat some Greek yogurt topped with TJ's Honey, Almond, and Flax cereal.  Then, I chug some coffee as I drive to work, listening to The Bert Show the entire drive.  On weekends, Dave and I frequent Dunkin' D's, then bring it back home and watch DVRed The Soup or SNL (depending on the day) in bed while we get crumbs everywhere.

F. Favorite color: Green!  It's been my favorite color since I knew what colors were.  When I was four, I broke my wrist and needed a cast.  The doctor tried to give me a pink one, and I refused, saying that I would prefer green.  He gave me a green one and I thought it was so pretty, I wouldn't let anyone sign it because I thought it would take away from it's beauty.  I remember it vividly.  Nowadays, green reminds me of serenity and peace.  It has a pretty chill vibe for a color!  Plus, it looks good on redheads.

G. Gold or silver: Silver.

H. Height: 5'4"

I. Instruments you play: Piano.  And I played the flute in middle school.  But that didn't last long.

J. Job title: Physical Therapist.  Best job in the world.

K. Kids: Someday!  Right now, I'm content taking care of Dave and Chelsea.

L. Live: The greatest city in the South, Atlanta!  I was born in DC, then spent my childhood in North Carolina and my adolescence in Florida.  Still, I've spent so much time in Massachusetts that it feels like home too!  It's nice to know I can feel comfortable in many places.

M. Mom’s name: Paula.

N. Nicknames: Julia Goolia...most people think they're pretty original when they come up with that one.  Dave calls me "Chicken," and I don't really remember how/why that started.

O. Overnight hospital stays: None yet...knock on wood!

P. Pet peeve: It's hard to pick just one!  Number one has got to be loud gum chewing, followed closely by folks mixing up "your" and "you're."

Q. Quote from a movie: This is hard because I REALLY love quoting movies!  I'm gonna have to go with the great Sirius Black on this one just because it always makes me tear up.

R. Right or left handed: Right handed.

S. Siblings: One younger sister.

T. Time you wake up: 6:00 on workdays...on weekends, it depends!  Usually 9?

U. Underwear: Yes.  I'm not sure what this question is asking, but I'm gonna go with yes.

V. Vegetables you dislike: Beets, red cabbage, radishes.  Red things?

W. What makes you run late: Getting distracted...usually by the internet.

X. X-Rays you’ve had: Obviously dental X-Rays...I'm going to assume I also had imaging done of my wrist when I was little (see above).  Also, I've had my toes photographed several times due to frequent ballet injuries!

Y. Yummy food you make: See that column to the left?  Click on "baking" or "cooking."  More to come.

Z. Zoo- favorite animal: My favorite animals don't live at the zoo; they live in water!  If I had to pick a favorite zoo animal, I'd have to go with giraffes, though I do have a fondness for lions.
