Mojitos are one of my favorite cocktails, and I believe that would be true even if I hadn't married into it. There's something about the mint and lime combination that is just oh so refreshing. The trouble with mojitos, though, is that it's really hard to make them correctly. My bar isn't always stocked with Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice, and sometimes it's hard to find sugar cane. But at the same time, you don't wanna make a rookie mistake and substitute with something like Sprite! This recipe is my version of the mojito with stuff that I always have around.
Mojitos Gringos

- 2 limes, each cut into 8 wedges
- 1/2 cup mint
- 4 tsp sugar

- 1 L sparkling water
Directions
Muddle together in a plastic pitcher. Place 5 ice cubes in a highball glass (a frosty one, if available) and enjoy!
