Bear Maker Bakery

The indie food scene in Atlanta isn't all about food trucks; there's another breed of independent vendors out there. These guys sell to local boutiques, co-ops, and eateries, in addition to selling on their own. One of my favorites among these quirky chefs is the Bear Maker Bakery.

I caught up with these guys recently at their The Power of Yum! Bake Sale, which was held at one of my favorite Inman Park spots, At the Collective. You may also remember them as the creators of some of the most creative dishes at the Atlanta Underground Market.

But what you may not know about Bear Maker Bakery is that they deliver door-to-door. That's right - if you're in the Atlanta area, Zifty will deliver their baked goods right to your door. You can check out their inventory here. How cool is that?!
